Tyrrell's Classic Cars is the workshop of Iain Tyrrell, one of the UK's best-known authorities on exotic classics. Based near Chester, his small team of engine builders, trimmers and craftsmen takes on everything from recommissioning a long-stored car to complete ground-up restorations, including remanufacturing parts to original factory specification.
The workshop is most closely associated with Lamborghini, particularly the Miura, Espada and Countach, alongside Ferrari, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce and Bentley. Its restorations have won concours awards internationally. Tyrrell began his career on Rolls-Royce and Bentley engines in the early 1980s and is especially known for tuning complex multi-carburettor engines by ear.
He also hosts the YouTube channel Tyrrell's Classic Workshop, where many of the cars passing through the workshop are documented in detail.
