Auto-Tech Corp. has traded as MG Restorations in Long Valley, New Jersey, since 1987. Owner Al has worked on British cars since 1976, and co-owner John adds a machinist’s skills.
The shop works on MGs, including the MGB, Midget, and T-Series, and also on Triumphs. It handles repairs, interiors, sheet metal, transmission overhauls, engine rebuilds, brakes, and suspension, up to complete frame-up restorations.
Its cars have placed at Britfest, with a second place for a 1954 MG TF in 2001 and a first place for an MGB in 2008. The shop sells restored MGBs, offers inside storage, and opens on Saturdays by appointment.
